About The Position

This role involves performing general maintenance on CNC Lathes and CNC Mills, as well as troubleshooting and repairing various plant equipment. The mechanic will be responsible for dismantling devices, repairing or replacing defective parts, lubricating and cleaning components, and adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years in CNC Machine (Lathes / Mills) maintenance required
• Must be able to operate a forklift and lifting devices
• Must be able to follow instructions and have the ability to manage a range of priorities
• Must possess knowledge of plant equipment, utilities, buildings, and grounds

Nice To Haves

• Must be able to communicate both in writing and orally as it relates to the job

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance of CNC Lathes and CNC MIlls
• Troubleshoots and repairs plant equipment machines such as forklifts, lathes, forging equipment among others
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoist, cranes, hand tools, and power tools
• Repairs or replaces defective parts
• Lubricates and cleans parts
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments
