About The Position

Cutting Dynamics, LLC, part of the Re:Build family of companies, is hiring a CNC Machinist for its facility in Avon, Ohio. The role operates CNC machinery to fabricate parts for aerospace and other industries, running production and non-production jobs while communicating with coworkers, supervisors, and management. The machinist follows established quality management systems and maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment. The schedule is a five-day workweek with eight-hour shifts from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM. Overtime is available.

Requirements

One to three years of experience with vertical or horizontal CNC milling.
High school diploma or GED.
Experience reading blueprints and using calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.
Proficiency with machining operations such as drilling, turning, and tapping.
Inspection competence.
Basic mathematical skills.
Mechanical and technical capacity.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Willingness to work the second shift: five days per week, eight-hour shifts, 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM.

Responsibilities

Set up, load, and run product on CNC machines.
Perform daily equipment maintenance and clean the work area after each shift.
Perform manual deburring operations as needed.
Follow the Process Routing Document.
Perform inspections according to the Process Routing Document and legibly record results.
Complete reports and associated paperwork.
Communicate with management, supervisors, operators, quality staff, and other shop personnel about assignments and machining or quality issues.
Follow applicable Quality Management System procedures, work instructions, and forms.
Safeguard company, customer, and supplier electronic, intellectual, and physical property.
Manage assigned records as the owner.
