About The Position

This position is located at the Re:Build CDI facility in Avon, Ohio. The CNC Machinist operates computer numerical controlled machinery to fabricate parts for the aerospace industry, including production and non-production jobs. The role involves communicating with coworkers, supervisors, and management; following established Quality Management System procedures; and maintaining a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

The position is on second shift, five days per week, with eight-hour shifts from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM. Overtime is available.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience with vertical or horizontal CNC milling.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience reading blueprints and using calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.
• Proficiency with machining operations such as drilling, turning, and tapping.
• Familiarity with vertical and horizontal machines.
• Demonstrated inspection competence.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Mechanical and technical capacity.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work second shift, five days per week, in eight-hour shifts from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM.

Responsibilities

• Set up, load, and run product into CNC machines.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance and clean the work area after each shift.
• Perform manual deburring operations as needed.
• Follow Process Routing Documents, conduct inspections as specified, and legibly record inspection results.
• Complete reports and associated paperwork.
• Communicate with management, supervisors, operators, quality staff, and other shop personnel about assignments and machining or quality issues.
• Follow applicable Quality Management System procedures, work instructions, and forms.
• Safeguard company, customer, and supplier electronic, intellectual, and physical property.
• Manage assigned records as the owner.
