Requirements

Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
Ability to read and understand blueprints

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machinery to cut, shape, and form metal components to precise specifications.
Perform machine shop operations using mills, lathes, grinders, jig borers, shapers, and other machining equipment.
Install and secure tooling, fixtures, cutting tools, and workpieces.
Adjust machine controls, speeds, feeds, coolant flow, and cutting depths.
Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
Document inspection results and ensure products meet quality standards.
Identify and report material defects or machine concerns.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
