About The Position

Precinmac’s Advance Mfg. is seeking experienced CNC Machinists for its night-shift team in Westfield, Massachusetts. The company is hiring across Horizontal Boring Mill, Vertical Mill, and Lathe machining disciplines. Candidates should have a strong background in high-precision machining and be able to work independently in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with a 15% shift differential. The hourly salary range is $25.00 to $43.00. Requirements

At least 5 years of machining experience.
Proven ability to machine complex, high-precision components.
Proficiency with Fanuc CNC controls.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
Strong knowledge of precision machining techniques, tooling, and dimensional inspection.
Ability to maintain tight tolerances and meet strict quality standards.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Set up CNC machines, load and secure parts, prove out programs, adjust offsets, and make minor program edits as needed.
Read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, work instructions, and customer specifications.
Inspect parts using precision measurement tools and make adjustments to maintain tight tolerances.
Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and support efficient, consistent, high-quality production.
Perform routine and preventive machine maintenance and keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters for different materials and operations.
Document production data, inspection results, and deviations according to company and quality requirements.
Collaborate with supervisors, engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve machining challenges and improve processes.
Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.
