About The Position

Lako, a product brand of ProMach, is seeking a skilled and motivated machinist for its Perrysburg, Ohio team. This position sets up and operates CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality precision components safely, efficiently, and on time. The machinist interprets blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, work instructions, and product specifications; determines dimensions, tolerances, machining parameters, and operation sequences; and selects and sets up appropriate tooling and fixtures. The role also involves inspecting parts, modifying or reworking components as needed, and applying machining practices, shop mathematics, knowledge of metal properties, mechanical principles, and manufacturing processes to meet quality standards. Work takes place in a high-mix, low-volume job-shop environment, with collaboration across engineering, tooling, and grinding departments. The posting identifies the role as first shift. It also contains a conflicting introductory JOB DESCRIPTION about an equipment/machine assembler; the detailed machining responsibilities and requirements are used here because they correspond to the CNC Machinist title.
