CADREX - CNC Machinist (All Levels - 1st and 2nd Shift)

Cadrex Agawam•Agawam Town, MA
•$24 - $45•Onsite

About The Position

Cadrex is hiring CNC Machinists at Level I, II, or III to operate, set up, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC machines that produce precision components to engineering specifications. Candidates are aligned to a level based on their experience, technical knowledge, and skills. The role supports product quality, production efficiency, on-time delivery, and a safe, collaborative manufacturing environment. All levels operate CNC machines, interpret blueprints and work instructions, inspect parts with precision measuring instruments, monitor machine performance, complete production and quality records, perform tool changes and basic adjustments, report issues, and collaborate with production teams, engineers, and supervisors. Level I machinists operate machines already set up for production and learn machining processes. Level II machinists independently set up machines, adjust processes, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive maintenance. Level III machinists handle complex setups and CNC programming, optimize processes, support multiple machine platforms, and mentor less experienced machinists. This is an onsite, full-time position in Agawam, Massachusetts, with availability for 1st- and 2nd-shift schedules. The work environment includes frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration, occasional exposure to electrical-shock risk, and noise that is usually moderate and occasionally loud. Cadrex identifies its core values as safety first, rising to the challenge, collaboration, accountability, and doing the right thing.
