About The Position

Operate a CNC machine and other equipment safely and efficiently to clean and prepare castings according to the OMS/process sheet, and inspect castings. The position requires following job instructions, identifying and correcting casting defects, and using tools, gauges, and instruments accurately.

Requirements

• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Must be able to stand, bend, twist, kneel, and walk for more than 10 hours.
• Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in an extremely hot environment.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Must pass a respirator fit test and comply with requirements when working in regulated areas.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One to two years of manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and correctly operate the CNC machine.
• Perform work according to specific job work instructions.
• Identify casting defects accurately and determine whether a part is acceptable.
• Correct defects to ensure compliance with the standard.
