About The Position

Sandvik Coromant in Westminster, SC is looking for a CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift. High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Nice To Haves

1-3 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing, mechanical, or process industry environment
Experience with CNC grinding equipment and machine programming
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

Set up, troubleshoot, and operate CNC grinding equipment.
Accurately enter quality, SPC, production, and other required data into designated company information systems.
Perform routine and primary maintenance on assigned equipment; assist the maintenance team with major repairs as required.
Develop, edit, and optimize programs for NC/CNC‑controlled grinding equipment.
Perform all phases of assigned operations in full compliance with company policies and all applicable state and federal safety and environmental regulations.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper housekeeping standards in all assigned work areas always.
Achieve established cycle time, productivity, and machine utilization targets.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Follow all company policies, operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
Wear required PPE at all times.
Promote a culture of safety and accountability.
Follow all company safety procedures.
Support compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO 14001 Environmental Management, and ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety.
