We are looking for a skilled and motivated team member to work in our CNC Department, machining polyurethane foam. This is hands-on manufacturing. Meaning, you’ll be on your feet, working with our HAAS and CMS machines, and meeting high-quality, aerospace production standards. Previous CNC experience is required. Reliable daily attendance is also required. If you have a history of missing shifts or arriving late without notice, please do not waste your time or ours. We are a federal subcontractor, and we test for marijuana

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Have a minimum of 2 years of CNC experience
• Experience with GD and T
• Must be able to receive and interpret instructions and directions from supervisors and peers
• Must demonstrate good judgment to perform the job correctly and safely
• Must be process minded with experience leading and participating in Continuous Improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

• CNC Machinist will operate computer-controlled tools to machine or process parts, tools, or other work pieces primarily of polyurethane foam but other materials as well.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, work orders, and related documentation to determine methods and sequence of operations, in addition to, dimensional and finish specifications.
• Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures
• Mount, install, align, secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and work pieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments
• Ability to effectively and efficiently setup and breakdown machines, removing finished work pieces, tooling changes, or work piece placement, according to required machining sequences
• Read, interpret and convey instructions, verbally and in written form
• Other duties as assigned, such as helping other departments to meet company goals
