Requirements

• High school education or equivalent or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to operate equipment such as lathes, horizontal drilling machines, mills, shot blast equipment, etc.
• Functional math and metal surface preparation skills required to complete job tasks.
• Knowledge and ability to use all gages and instruments required to related job tasks.
• Background Investigation / Drug Screen / US Person: Required.

Nice To Haves

• Five (5) plus years in various CNC equipment and metal preparation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes, CNC mills and/or any related equipment required during the performance of assigned tasks.
• Perform set-up adjustment and machining operations on CNC machines as required by job tasks.
• Ability to check parts read micrometer and caliper depth micrometer – plus other variable gages
• Ability to make offset adjustments, identify the correct inserts for the job and change as needed
• Ability to meet production schedule for producing quality product drawings, blueprint and/or specifications.
• Ability to read and correctly interpret applicable SOP’s and SOI’s required in job assignments.
• Ability to accurately report and complete process and/or machine specific reporting.
• Must be capable of reporting inventory, labor and defect date transactions on the company CIMA system.
