CNC Machinist/Programmer
About The Position
MasterTech is on the search for a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer in Salt Lake City. The Machinist/Programmer will be responsible for programming, set up, and operation of Mazak Machines utilizing Mazatrol programming language. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting machinery, operating mills and lathes, collaborating with engineers and designers to interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings, developing and implementing efficient machining strategies that boost productivity, training and mentoring junior Machinists, and curating a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience in the trade with leadership experience preferred but not required.
- Highly proficient with Mazak Mazatrol.
- Excellent understanding of G -Code programming and CNC Machining principles.
- Experience programming with Mastercam Software.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
