About The Position
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with programming experience to support precision manufacturing operations. This role involves programming, setup, and operation of CNC equipment to produce high-quality components used in industrial applications. You will work closely with shop leadership to ensure production goals, quality standards, and deadlines are consistently met.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in CNC machining with hands-on programming responsibilities
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Solid understanding of G-code programming
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision work
- Knowledge of machining best practices, safety standards, and quality expectations
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements
- Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and milling machines
- Develop and edit G-code using control systems such as Fanuc, Haas, Fagor, or Heidenhain
- Machine components to tight tolerances (up to 0.0005") with consistency and accuracy
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges)
- Verify that parts meet all specifications and quality requirements
- Follow all safety procedures within a machining environment
- Maintain strong attendance, reliability, and work ethic
- Handle materials up to 50 lbs as part of daily responsibilities
- Support production schedules, including required overtime
