About The Position

Sim Surgical is seeking CNC Machinists for their Mills and Lathes Departments. This role operates in a clean, well-lit, state-of-the-art machining center that is climate-controlled, offering a comfortable work environment unlike traditional hot, dark, or dirty shops. The company is looking for individuals for 1st shift (Monday-Thursday, 5 am-3:30 pm), 2nd shift, and Weekend Shift.

Requirements

Possess strong math skills, ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers including decimals and fractions.
Simple reference use of formulas, charts, shop prints, specifications and computer scanning devices.
Ability to communicate effectively with other employees.

Nice To Haves

1-3 years’ experience with Set-up and operation of CNC Machines (will train).
Experience with Haas, Okuma, or Tsugami Swiss machines.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC Haas Mills to finish parts or prepare for next operation.
Work from blueprints, part prints, drawings, and verbal instructions.
Use precision tools and instruments.
Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition; follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
