About The Position

Q-Tech Mfg., LLC (QTM) is a growing precision manufacturing company based in Standish, Michigan. We specialize in producing high-quality machined components for a variety of material handling equipment. Our success is built on skilled people, strong teamwork, and a commitment to quality and safety in everything we do. Q-Tech Mfg., LLC is seeking motivated individuals to join our CNC Lathe and Mill operations. We are hiring for multiple positions, including CNC Machinists, Machinist Trainees, and Machine Operators. Entry-level through experienced candidates are encouraged to apply. Programming experience is helpful but not required for all roles. Starting pay is based on demonstrated competency. Employees must be willing and able to work both day and afternoon shifts (swing shift) as part of our regular operations.

  • Required availability for day and afternoon shifts

Nice To Haves

  • Programming experience is helpful but not required for all roles
  • CNC programming knowledge is a plus for machinist roles

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC lathes and mills to produce precision parts
  • Set up machines and monitor production processes (based on role and experience)
  • Read and follow work instructions and production documentation
  • Perform routine quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all quality and safety standards at all times
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
