About The Position

The CNC Machinist I operates and adjusts semi-automatic or automatic numerically controlled machine tools to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations where programs are provided, and setups are often made and maintained by others. This position is for the 1st Shift, which runs from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. A $2000 sign-on bonus is available.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
• 1 year of related experience
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and routings

Responsibilities

• Operates and adjusts semi-automatic or automatic numerically controlled machine tools to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations where programs are provided, and setups are often made and maintained by others.
• Adjusts, checks out programming and operates semi-automatic or automatic CNC machines with minimum supervision.
• Check parts to conformance to specifications.
