About The Position

Heizer Aerospace is hiring a CNC Machinist Assistant/Helper to support daily aircraft-parts production at its facility in Pevely, Missouri. The role involves loading and unloading aircraft parts from machinery, preparing large parts for production, helping monitor machinery during processing, and keeping the machining area clean. The employer will train the successful candidate to use a forklift. Other duties include shoveling metal chips into a hopper and additional tasks as assigned.

The posting offers a second-shift schedule Monday through Thursday, 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., with four 10-hour days and an additional pay differential for second shift. It also lists a weekend shift Friday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; employees on that schedule work 34.5 hours and are paid for 40 hours. In-house training and competitive pay are offered.
