CNC Machinist Apprentice
About The Position
JD Machine Corporation is hiring full-time CNC Machinist Apprentices in Ogden, Utah, and provides on-the-job training from experienced machinists through its U.S. Department of Labor Registered Machining Apprenticeship Program. No experience is preferred. Apprentices operate CNC machines from their first day, make parts for customers, inspect work for quality, and make adjustments so finished products meet customer expectations. The position offers the opportunity to learn a skilled trade while completing technical education. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with the opportunity for a $1-per-hour raise every six months as the apprentice progresses through the program. The facility is fully climate-controlled, clean, and modern, with state-of-the-art equipment. Training is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Once ready, apprentices move to swing shift, Monday through Thursday, 3:45 p.m. to 1:45 a.m. A weekend shift is available for those who prefer it, requiring 12 hours per day for three days.
