The CNC Machining Supervisor (1st shift) is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling production to ensure efficient, timely, and budget-compliant production of goods that meet quality standards. This role involves directly supervising and coordinating the activities of production staff, managing daily production schedules, and ensuring proper inventory management. The supervisor will oversee the day-to-day workflow, manage production operators to ensure adherence to schedules, handle disciplinary actions, and collaborate with department leaders to improve performance. Key responsibilities include ensuring job reviews and training plans are completed, overseeing 6S activities, and enforcing safety procedures. The position also involves ensuring the production process delivers high-quality products, maintaining appropriate production rates, collaborating with Customer Service and sales to resolve quality concerns, identifying and resolving production bottlenecks, using production planning to limit material shortages, ensuring machinery compliance with standards, communicating risks, resolving issues, preparing staff schedules, acting as a liaison between departments, reviewing and updating policies, ensuring Corrective Action Reports (CARs) are submitted, and directing continuous improvement activities.
