CNC Machining Engineer - Part-time
About The Position
Moog’s Military Aircraft Group has an immediate part-time job opportunity for Engineering students (sophomore or higher) in the machine shop at our plant in Torrance, CA. In this role you will gain hands-on CNC machining experience, document processes, and support production of components for aircraft flight control actuation systems (FCAS) for commercial and military aircraft. Training will be provided, and hours will be flexible to work around your class schedule including weekdays, nights, and weekends (15-20 hours per week).
Requirements
- Enrollment in Bachelor’s Degree program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Sophomore or higher
- Willing and able to work 15-20 hours per week
Nice To Haves
- Prefer 3.0 GPA minimum
- Highly motivated
- Comfortable in a hands-on shop floor environment
- Hands-on mechanical experience is helpful
