About The Position

Nesco Resource is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Machine Tool Operator to operate CNC and manual machining equipment and produce quality components according to work orders and engineering specifications. The role involves operating and setting up machining equipment, inspecting finished parts, and maintaining tooling and a safe, organized work area. Associates may cross-train on various machining tasks and work overtime as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to follow instructions and read technical drawings.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of machine shop experience.
• Manufacturing or fluid power industry experience.
• Journeyman CNC Machine Tool Operator training, or willingness to complete the program.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines, lathes, drill presses, and milling machines.
• Perform machine setups, tool changes, and minor maintenance.
• Read work orders, setup instructions, and engineering drawings.
• Measure, inspect, and deburr parts to meet quality standards.
• Maintain tooling, fixtures, and an organized, safe work area.
• Cross-train on various machining tasks and work overtime as needed.
