About The Position

This is an entry to mid-level role based in the US, focused on operating machinery within the Mechanical Workshop area. The position provides hands-on support across prototyping, manufacturing, and rework of mechanical parts, working closely with engineering teams to ensure quality and precision in every output.

Requirements

  • Background or experience in mechanics, with CAD competency
  • Hands-on experience with automated CNC machines, including Mill and Lathe operations
  • Solid understanding of Preventive Maintenance practices
  • Strong ability and willingness to learn new skills and processes
  • Proficiency in computer applications relevant to the role

Nice To Haves

  • 2 or more years of relevant experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Create G-code and prepare programs for CNC equipment using Fusion 360
  • Perform machine setup and preparation prior to operations
  • Operate manual and automated CNC machines, including Lathe and bandsaw equipment
  • Conduct quality inspections and control checks on manufactured parts
  • Collaborate with Verification Engineers on dimensioning and tolerancing control
  • Maintain equipment, materials, and the Mechanical Workshop environment to required standards
  • Perform basic maintenance of CNC equipment
  • Manage stock levels, raise purchase orders, and monitor raw material and end-tool consumption
  • Monitor the workshop environment to ensure it meets requirements and report any abnormalities
