About The Position

Join a dynamic Facilities – Operations and Maintenance team as the subject matter expert for CNC machine repair. As a CNC Machine Repair Technician IV, you’ll take ownership of diagnosing, repairing, and optimizing advanced manufacturing equipment in a cutting-edge industrial environment. Your technical expertise will drive continuous improvement and innovation while mentoring others, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring maximum machine uptime.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or minimum 5 years industrial machinery maintenance
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
  • Proficient with AC/DC motor controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and instrumentation calibration
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, electronic, and mechanical schematics
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment substance abuse screening
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs., working at heights, and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the shift

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with multi-axis wet and dry CNC grinders, balancers, coolant systems, pumps, exhaust systems
  • Exposure to cutting and grinding processes
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and document electrical/electronic, mechanical, and control issues in CNC and automated equipment
  • Perform alignment and leveling of CNC machinery to ensure peak performance
  • Lead root cause analysis to prevent equipment failures and optimize reliability
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to less experienced technicians
  • Communicate effectively with management, customers, and vendors to resolve complex technical issues
  • Support equipment installation, upgrades, and site operations procedure improvements
  • Engage in Lean initiatives and continuous improvement projects related to safety, quality, and productivity
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
  • Operate diagnostic, measuring, and testing instruments, including hand tools and computers
