About The Position

Now Hiring a CNC Machine Operator for a great company in Hudson, OH! This is a temp-to-full-time position. The role involves operating CNC mill and lathe machines, documenting production progress, performing machine tool adjustments, and ensuring product quality and accuracy using measuring equipment. The operator will maintain quality and safety standards, collaborate with other departments, and use various inspection and measurement tools. Responsibilities also include assisting with material movement, using hand tools for deburring and cutting, and lifting up to 50 lbs. A clean and organized work area is expected.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years of CNC Machine Operation experience
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork skills
Ability to work overtime as needed
Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

Blueprint reading
Tow motor (forklift) experience
Experience with precision measurement instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gages, comparators)

Responsibilities

Operate CNC mill and lathe machines
Document production progress using data collection sheets and Microsoft Navision software
Perform machine tool adjustments after completing training
Use measuring equipment to ensure product quality and accuracy
Maintain quality and safety standards at all times
Work as a team player and collaborate with all departments
Operate inspection and measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gages, comparators, and CMM equipment
Assist with moving materials using a forklift and pallet jack
Use hand tools for deburring and cutting as needed
Lift up to 50 lbs
Maintain a clean, organized work area
