About The Position
We’re looking for a CNC Machine Operator early in their career and looking to join a team where they can expand their machining skills. Our CNC Machine Operators work on high-quality metal components designed in-house. You’ll gain experience on mills and lathes, expand your knowledge of G&M-codes and learn setups.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Good mechanical skills, including experience with work tools such as micrometers, calipers, gage pins, rulers, computers.
- Familiar with reading technical drawings and understanding specifications.
- Reliability, teamwork and a positive attitude.
- Demonstrate good problem solving and analytical skills.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to repetitively lift 30+ pounds.
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
- Ability to understand and learn company terminology.
Responsibilities
- Load, Unload, Start and Stop Machines.
- Monitor machine progress to maintain production.
- Perform in-process inspection of manufactured parts.
- Monitor tool wear and make machine offsets to assure parts are of the proper size as manufactured.
- Perform daily machine maintenance including maintaining oil and coolant levels.
- Responsible for the upkeep and cleaning of work area, shop and finishing area.
- Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
