About The Position

OMW Corporation is a world leading supplier of custom manufactured mechanical parts and assemblies, serving exciting companies in the aerospace, commercial launch, electronics, semiconductors, and medical industries. With 28 years in business and rapid growth, we are seeking a CNC Machine Operator to load and run parts in CNC machines, including computer-controlled mills and lathes. Responsibilities may also include minor part assembly, deburring, part inspection, and other related manufacturing tasks. We are willing to train the right candidate, but an ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machines, good mechanical aptitude, familiarity with inspecting and measuring mechanical parts with calipers and micrometers, experience making simple changes to machine offsets, and the ability to inspect and replace broken tools and re-offset them. This position requires access to information subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (ITAR and EAR), thus requiring the applicant to be a U.S. Person.

Requirements

Ability to lift 50lbs comfortably.
Good mechanical skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Comfort with physical labor and hand tools.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to communicate with written and verbal English language.
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Permanent Resident, or certain categories of Political Asylees and Refugees) to comply with U.S. export control laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating CNC machines.
Familiarity with inspecting and measuring mechanical parts with calipers and micrometers.
Some experience making simple changes to machine offsets.

Responsibilities

Load and run parts in CNC machines, including computer-controlled mills and lathes.
