CNC Machine Operator
About The Position
Noble-X is a growing company with multiple locations across the Midwest. We are currently hiring for a part-time machine operator with availability on either our weekend or weekday shift. Weekend employees receive an additional $3/hr shift differential. This role is for a reliable and safety-focused CNC Machine Operator with hands-on experience supporting production in a manufacturing environment. Skilled in basic machine operation, part handling, inspection, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality, teamwork, and following standard work instructions.
Requirements
- Understanding of print reading
- Experienced understanding and awareness of measurement tool usage (Gage pins, calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Nice To Haves
- Prior manufacturing or CNC experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Load raw materials and unload finished parts from CNC machines
- Start machine cycles and monitor operations for normal function
- Perform basic visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools
- Deburr, clean, and prepare parts according to work instructions
- Follow job travelers, work instructions, and quality requirements
- Identify and report quality concerns or machine issues to supervisors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (5S standards)
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Support overall production flow and team objectives
