About The Position
The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts according to work instructions, blueprints, and established quality standards. This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training provided.
Requirements
- Ability to read basic measurements and follow written instructions.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or CNC experience is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
- Follow work orders, blueprints, and production instructions.
- Inspect parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Monitor machines during production and report issues to a supervisor.
- Perform basic machine adjustments and routine maintenance as trained.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Meet production and quality requirements.
- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
