About The Position

Advanced Industries LLC has been in business for over 50 years as a turnkey manufacturing company fabricating aluminum and steel products for the Department of Defense. We are looking for the next addition to our award-winning team!! This position is for the 1st Shift, with a 10-hour shift, Monday through Thursday, from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Requirements

Must pass pre-employment drug screen (THC/Marijuana included).
1 year of CNC Experience working with the set-up, programming, where applicable, and operation of press brakes, shears, lathes, vertical and horizontal milling machines, and drill presses (Required).

Must be able to tolerate repetitive, tedious work.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing technologies.

Responsibilities

Load parts, operate CNC machines, and touch-off tools (if needed).
Responsible for 1st piece, in-process inspection, and routine machine maintenance.
Willingness to learn continuous improvement processes.
Operation of equipment such as press brakes and computer numerical control (CNC) machines with minimum blueprint reading and job set-up ability.
Responsible for simple, generic machine set-ups.
Use of power tools, such as tape measure, calipers.
Must be able to tolerate repetitive, tedious work.
