Requirements

HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US)

Nice To Haves

1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
At least 6 months of experience in quality inspection.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with SAP or similar enterprise software.

Responsibilities

Perform receiving, in-process, and pre-coat inspection functions for materials and non-product items.
Plan inspection sequences and layouts, utilizing a variety of precision measuring instruments and equipment to perform less complex inspection operations.
Adhere to all required training, including warehouse procedures for receiving, receive-in inspection, and materials handling processes.
Collaborate with the Materials organization to troubleshoot and resolve material-related issues.
Assign incoming nonconforming parts and non-product items to the appropriate warehouse location to ensure quality requirements are achieved.
Provide support for warehouse and engine logistics activities as needed.
Maintain a strong commitment to Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) and continuous improvement programs by adhering to policies and procedures, completing all required training, and participating in applicable committee activities.
