We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator / Machinist First Class to join our team in West Middlesex, PA. This is a union position offering competitive wages, benefits, and the opportunity to work on a variety of custom and industrial machining projects. Candidates should be reliable, safety-focused, and experienced in setting up and operating multiple types of machining equipment. A Machinist First Class must have the ability to interpret blueprints, independently set up equipment, and perform machining operations to the required tolerances specified on applicable drawings.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of machining or CNC machine operation experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Experience setting up and operating multiple types of machining equipment
Experience with milling, boring, turning, grinding, drilling, and tapping operations
Ability to work accurately to specified dimensions and tolerances
Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Strong attention to detail and work ethic
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, machining drawings, and specifications
Set up and operate CNC and conventional machining equipment
Perform milling, boring, turning, grinding, drilling, tapping, and other machining operations
Machine components to the dimensions and tolerances specified on applicable drawings
Select and properly use appropriate tooling for machining operations
Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges, and other inspection tools
Inspect work during and after machining to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality
Make necessary machine, tooling, and setup adjustments to maintain required tolerances
Perform proficiently on all applicable Company machining equipment
Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
