About The Position

This is an entry-level CNC Machine Operator position on the night shift. The role involves operating CNC machines and production equipment according to job specifications and blueprints. The operator will be responsible for setting up machines, using precision measuring instruments, inspecting parts, and performing minor maintenance. This position offers opportunities for skill development through on-the-job training and repetition of operations.

Requirements

Must be willing to purchase required tools, which must pass certification criteria.
Mechanical aptitude.
Able to accurately use measuring devices such as micrometers and calipers.
Able to read and interpret documents.
Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, including computing rate, ratio and percentage.
Authorized to work in United States.
Able to meet ATF & regulatory security requirements.

Responsibilities

Confirm job order procedures and instructions relating to machine operations.
Set up and operate CNC Machines and/or production equipment; strictly following instructions, job specifications and blueprints.
Read blueprints accurately to properly set up machinery.
Operate hand tools as necessary to set up tools in the correct machine.
Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions.
Identify and stamp parts for traceability.
Inspect products per print.
Keep machine clean, perform minor maintenance as needed, and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
Perform entry level CNC machining processes with assistance.
Other duties as assigned.
