Our California division, located in Huntington Beach, seeks a CNC Lathe Operators on the 1st and 2nd Shifts. Summary The CNC Lathe Operator is responsible for adjustments, preventative maintenance and operation of computerized numerically controlled (CNC) lathe machines. The successful candidate will be committed to the highest level of integrity, trust and responsibility and bring a hands-on approach to day to day operations.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school or receipt of equivalent degree (GED).
- Five years of experience working with CNC lathe machines or certification from a trade school.
- Ability to understand blueprint reading.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both written and verbal in English.

Responsibilities
- Operate computerized numerically controlled (CNC) lathe machines.
- Change cutters when tools are dull.
- Inform Manager of machine and production problems.
- Perform part inspection checks.
- Attend training activities, as required.
- Participate in continual improvement teams, as required.
- Participate in safety and OSHA training.
- Keep work area clean and tidy at all times.
- Work in an organized manner with attention to details.
- Basic data entry computer skills.
- Ability to understand blueprint reading.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both written and verbal in English.
- Help operators with issues.
