About The Position

This role involves operating CNC machine tools to produce components according to blueprint specifications. The position requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, as well as various manual machine tools. Proficiency with measuring instruments, gauges, and hand tools is essential. The role also emphasizes teamwork, safety, and maintaining a clean work area with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2 years in a manufacturing environment that include CNC equipment
• Proficient using measuring instruments and gages.
• Proficient using various hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blue prints and follow various work instructions.
• Set-up and operate CNC machine tools (CNC lathe/mill).
• Set-up and operate various manual machine tools (drill press, belt sander etc.).
• Proficient using measuring instruments and gages.
• Proficient using various hand tools.
• Ability to work well with fellow employees including active participation in employee involvement activities and problem solving.
• Fully support and participate in promoting safety at all times.
• Maintain clean, efficient work area.
• Ability to work well with minimum supervision.
