About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Lathe Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC Swiss lathes and a passion for precision machining. As a Lathe Operator at Microtech Knives, you will play a key role in producing high-quality components used in our premium knives.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC Swiss lathes.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting machining blueprints.
• Strong understanding of machining principles and methods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Swiss lathes to produce components to specified tolerances.
• Read and interpret blueprints and machining drawings.
• Perform set-ups and adjustments to machines as needed.
• Inspect finished components for quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure high standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
