About The Position

The CNC Machinist position produces machine parts by setting up and operating multiple CNC Machines. Provides support to other Machinists; work assignments, technical support and meeting daily business goals under the supervision and direction of the Business Unit Manager.

Requirements

Any level of experience with Lathes and/or Mills (2 years minimum).
Ability to communicate verbally and written.
Ability to work through technical problems with other Machinists and/or Lead.
Supports company rules, policies, and respective duties.
Understanding of GD&T and inspection techniques.
Manual dexterity - fine motor control and strong hand-eye coordination.
Ability to maintain a high level of focus for extended periods.
Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as blueprints, MOT's and written work instructions.
Ability to do math conversions for material and machine usage as well as inventory control.
Requires strong attention to detail, safety consciousness and concern for quality work.
Must be able to work both independently and as a team member.
Ability to make independent decisions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Coordinates with leads and other support staff.
Ensures clear second shift hand off.
Coordinates with supporting departments (e.g., Engineering, Quality) when assistance is required.
Trains and instructs other employees as directed.
Performs other duties as requested.
