About The Position
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator for a temp-to-hire position in our repairs division. This role involves operating a brand new 120-inch CNC lathe with Siemens controls. While some programs will be loaded, you will also be responsible for some programming and making adjustments directly on the machine. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively with the team and possess the ability to run precision tools such as calipers and micrometers to create their own part drawings, make adjustments, and write programs in the machine.
Requirements
- Experience as a CNC Lathe Operator.
- Proficiency with Siemens controls (conversational programming).
- Ability to perform some programming.
- Ability to run precision tools (calipers, micrometers).
- Ability to create part drawings and make adjustments.
- Ability to write programs in the machine.
- Good communication skills.
