CNC Lathe Machinist - B Shift
About The Position
Brinkman Precision, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join its growing team in West Henrietta, New York. The company specializes in high-precision machining for aerospace, medical, defense, and industrial manufacturing, and emphasizes quality and innovation. This full-time position is on B Shift and pays $20.00 to $36.00 per hour, based on experience. The machinist will produce precision components according to blueprints and specifications, perform setup and machine operation, inspect parts, and work with team members and engineers to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating CNC lathes in a precision machining environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and GD&T.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathes to produce precision components according to blueprints and specifications.
- Perform tool changes, offset adjustments, and minor programming edits as needed.
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to ensure quality.
- Interpret technical drawings and machining instructions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine issues.
- Work with team members and engineers to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
