About The Position

This is a temp-to-hire position for a CNC Lathe and Milling Operator located in Cypress. The schedule is Monday-Thursday, 7 am-5:30 pm (4/10 schedule). The pay range is $24-$30 per hour, depending on experience (DOE). Responsibilities include preparing and locating materials, machine set-up, tool maintenance, machining parts, and cleaning parts. The role also involves chemical handling and proper disposal of hazardous materials, with training provided by the Safety Manager. Employees are required to use specific safety equipment.

Requirements

• Experience with CNC Lathe and Milling operations.
• Ability to prepare and locate materials.
• Proficiency in machine set-up.
• Skill in sharpening tool bites, drill bites, and boring bars.
• Experience in machining parts.
• Knowledge of cleaning machined parts.
• Understanding of safety procedures.
• Familiarity with chemical handling (Isopropyl Alcohol, Acetone).
• Proper disposal of hazardous materials (used wipes, coolant, oil).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Proto Trak and Anilam controls.
• Hazardous Material Contingency training.
