CNC Laser & Press Brake Programmer
About The Position
Horsepower Automotive Group (HPAG), a leader in the automotive aftermarket industry with multiple off-road and overlanding brands such as: Addictive Desert Designs, C4 Fabrication, Rago Fabrication, DV8 Off-Road and Flat Line Van co, has a CNC Laser & Press Brake Programmer position opening in our Engineering department. Hardworking, positive team players will excel in being involved in the continuous development and introduction of new innovative products into the market. Strong attention to detail and organization skills are a must. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to converting SolidWorks 3D models into flat patterns to laser cut and developing the bend order and programming the tools to work with the CNC press brakes. This position requires critical thinking and some creative process concepts to be successful. Candidates can be trained to use our internal software systems to make the laser cutting programs and bending programs. This position is essential to the success of the entire production line and requires team collaboration throughout the process.
Requirements

- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Must be computer literate and able to use normal MS office tools
- Must be familiar with 3D modeling software (SolidWorks)
- Must be able to pass background check and drug test.
- High school Diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years Laser and Press Brake software hands-on experience
Nice To Haves
- CNC Press Brake Operator experience a plus
- CNC Laser Cutting Operator experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Daily tasks of importing 3D models into TruTops Boost to be laser cut and programming press brake bending programs.
- Open 3D models within SolidWorks and adding manufacturing features to parts to aid the forming process
- Assist in quality control inspections of the programmed parts
