About The Position

We are seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Setup & Programmer to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role responsible for independently programming, setting up, and operating CNC press brakes to produce high-quality sheet metal components to customer specifications. The ideal candidate is a skilled fabricator who can read blueprints, determine bend sequences, select tooling, perform complete machine setups, and ensure parts meet quality requirements from first-piece inspection through production. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, works safely, and contributes to a positive team environment.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC press brakes in a manufacturing environment
Strong sheet metal fabrication background with the ability to form a variety of materials, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
Ability to independently perform complete machine setups with minimal supervision
Experience determining tooling requirements and bend sequences from engineering drawings
Proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
Working knowledge of press brake tooling, setup techniques, and preventative maintenance
Experience using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection tools
Strong math skills, including fractions, decimals, and metric conversions
Ability to identify and resolve quality and production issues

Responsibilities

Program, set up, and operate CNC press brake equipment to produce precision sheet metal components
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications to determine tooling, bend sequences, and machine setup requirements
Select, install, and align tooling to ensure efficient production and dimensional accuracy
Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments
Verify part dimensions and quality standards while maintaining required production rates
Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and forming issues to minimize downtime and scrap
Perform routine machine maintenance and daily equipment inspections
Accurately record production and quality information as required
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Work collaboratively with production, quality, engineering, and leadership teams to meet customer and production requirements
