About The Position

We are a metal stamping facility looking for production team members for our CNC Laser on 1st and 3rd shift. This role involves the startup, operation, and shutdown of a CNC fiber laser machine. You will be responsible for selecting appropriate nozzles, loading programs, setting machine parameters, and performing quality checks to ensure optimal performance and product quality. Communication with maintenance and quality support personnel regarding machine or quality issues is also a key part of the job.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency is preferred but not required.
  • Basic reading, writing, and some advanced math skills required.
  • Using hand tools and machines proficiently.
  • Measuring, cutting, or working on items with great accuracy.
  • Excitement to learn a new skill
  • Tendency to follow set instructions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven team player
  • Self-starter
  • Strong work record in safety, quality, and dependability.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Startup, operation, and shutdown of CNC fiber laser machine.
  • Select nozzles for particular material being processed.
  • Load programs and set machine parameters to achieve best performance.
  • Perform first, last and periodical checks on parts and complete associated quality documents.
  • Follow routers, schedules and work instructions.
  • Communicate machine/quality issues to maintenance and quality to support personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned.
