The CNC Engineer's main responsibility is to maintain the highest level of technical capabilities and execution in our industry. The CNC Engineer should support Quoting, NPI, Lights out Manufacturing, Programming Strategies and Continuing Education on the CNC Industry to produce the most efficient and precision use of equipment enabling high quality product with the shortest possible cycle times. The CNC Engineer should perform in a way that Scrap % due to non-personnel related issues is maintained at < 3% and Quoting Accuracy for Setup and Cutting time of <5% deviation from actual. This position should always be evaluating our current processes on each project to determine candidates for lights out manufacturing and engineering those solutions for ultimate implementation. This position will own the process and refinement of process through establishment of Corrective and Preventive Actions in response to Root Cause and Quality Issues. Maintains a safe, clean and organized work environment, adhering to all company policies and procedures. Wear all required Person Protective Equipment, when Observe and implement safety procedures and company policies in the CNC department. Delivers operational excellence through focused and quality performance. Meets individual goals, metrics and Key Performance Indicators.
