About The Position
This position is responsible for operating a CNC Copper Cutter, including setting up and running jobs, programming, and training others. A secondary function of this role involves providing support to the Foaming Area with various tasks.
Requirements
- Ability to operate CNC machine safely and efficiently
- Ability to run jobs within tolerances of bends and swedge dimensions
Responsibilities
- Transport and setup of large copper spools utilizing PITs
- Setup of rollers and cutting tooling
- Setting programs for desired job
- Programming setups and variances of new and existing jobs
- Training others to operate CNC machine safely and efficiently
- Running jobs within tolerances of bends and swedge dimensions
- Barrel and pan wrapping
- Extruding
- Spot welding
- Mastic application
- Custard Top assembly
- Cab and door production
