About The Position

This position is responsible for operating a CNC Copper Cutter machine, including setting up and programming the machine for various jobs. The role also involves transporting and setting up large copper spools, rollers, and cutting tooling. Additionally, the CNC Copper Cutter will train others on safe and efficient machine operation and ensure jobs are run within specified tolerances. A secondary function of this role is to provide support to the Foaming Area, which includes tasks such as barrel and pan wrapping, extruding, spot welding, mastic application, custard top assembly, and cab and door production.

Requirements

• Ability to operate CNC machine safely and efficiently
• Ability to set up rollers and cutting tooling
• Ability to set programs for desired job
• Ability to program setups and variances of new and existing jobs
• Ability to run jobs within tolerances of bends and swedge dimensions
• Ability to transport and set up large copper spools utilizing PITs

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the Foaming Area (barrel and pan wrapping, extruding, spot welding, mastic application, custard top assembly, cab and door production)
