About The Position

Greiner Industries is seeking a skilled CNC AutoCAD/SolidWorks Programmer proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and 3D modeling. The role focuses on setting up and optimizing CNC burn bed tables—including waterjet, laser, and plasma tables—for efficient, accurate production. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently, often under tight deadlines.

Requirements

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and 3D modeling.
Strong understanding of machining principles, tool selection, and material properties.
Ability to work from 2D drawings and 3D models.
Familiarity with GD&T and precision measurement tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently, often under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Program laser/plasma tables and waterjet machines using AutoCAD and SolidWorks for a wide range of complex parts and materials.
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds based on materials and specifications.
Set up and prove out programs on the shop floor, making adjustments as needed.
Collaborate with machinists to refine and optimize machining processes.
Maintain program files and documentation in an organized and accessible manner.
Troubleshoot issues related to programming, tooling, and machining operations.
Ensure all parts meet quality standards and tolerances.
