About The Position

This entry-level position provides equipment and preventive maintenance support for production equipment. The employee performs documented basic preventive maintenance, helps with equipment improvements, rebuilds, and basic troubleshooting under guidance, and assists other maintenance technicians with advanced preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. The role also involves recording maintenance activities in a computerized maintenance management system and performing coolant tank and oil skimmer preventive maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Demonstrated use and understanding of basic hand tools.
• Must be a U.S. Person. The role is subject to ITAR and EAR compliance; eligible status includes U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or refugee or asylee status. Non-U.S. citizens may be restricted from certain programs.
• Able to bend, squat, sit, stand, walk, handle objects, push and pull, reach above shoulder level, carry or lift up to 40 pounds, and rotate items being handled.
• Able to work on feet for the entire shift.
• Team-oriented.

Nice To Haves

• CNC equipment operation experience with mills, lathes, or hones.
• Experience working on mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Make safety the foundation of daily work through vigilance and accountability.
• Perform documented basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Carry out assigned equipment improvement, rebuild, or basic troubleshooting projects with guidance.
• Assist other maintenance technicians with advanced preventive maintenance and equipment troubleshooting.
• Track maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Perform coolant tank and oil skimmer preventive maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Ensure maintenance actions are completed safely and in a timely manner.
