About The Position

Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic CNA to join its skilled nursing team. The CNA assists licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and activities of daily living in support of residents of a Life-Care community. This is a part-time first-shift position from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with a starting pay of $19.00 per hour. The role offers benefits, a great staff-resident ratio, and a teamwork-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Successfully complete a state-approved geriatric nursing assistant training program.
• Be able to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Communicate effectively.
• Perform simple arithmetic.

Nice To Haves

• Prior geriatric care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with dressing, grooming, eating, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
• Transfer, transport, and escort patients as needed.
• Answer signal lights promptly.
