CNA - SNF - First Shift (7a-7p) - Part Time
About The Position
Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join its skilled nursing team. The CNA assists licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and supporting residents with activities of daily living. This part-time, first-shift position is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and offers a starting pay of $19.00 per hour, benefits, a great staff-to-resident ratio, and teamwork. Friendship Village’s mission is to facilitate vibrant senior living in a Life-Care community. Requirements
- Successfully complete a state-approved geriatric nursing assistant training program.
- Understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
Nice To Haves
- Prior geriatric care experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with dressing, grooming, eating, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
- Transfer, transport, and escort patients as needed.
- Respond promptly to signal lights.
