About The Position
This position provides direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The role involves assisting patients with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and documenting patient information. Orientation is provided through a preceptorship program at Perry County Memorial Hospital. The work requires attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage stressful situations. The role involves standing or sitting for periods, with physical exertion including walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting, requiring good body mechanics.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Current Indiana Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Current in BLS/CPR.
Nice To Haves
- Previous clerical and/or nursing assistant experience helpful.
